Terms of Service

Beta Service Notice: Orbiter Dev is currently in beta. These terms govern use of a pre-release service that is under active development and may change before general availability.

1. Description of Service

Orbiter Dev is a mobile companion and control-plane service for developers using AI coding assistants. It helps users receive, review, and respond to actions proposed by AI coding agents. The Service is provided for beta evaluation and operational feedback.

2. Beta Availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may be incomplete, contain errors, change, be rate-limited, or be discontinued. We do not provide service-level commitments for uptime, notification delivery, latency, model behavior, or third-party integrations during beta.

3. User Responsibility for AI Agent Actions

You are responsible for the AI agents, tools, repositories, credentials, environments, and commands you connect to Orbiter Dev.

Orbiter Dev helps route and review proposed actions. It does not guarantee that an AI-generated command, code change, deployment, or other agentic action is safe, correct, secure, reversible, or compliant. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate human review, backups, access controls, and deployment safeguards.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or related systems.
  • Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Service.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract non-public source code except where allowed by applicable law.
  • Share beta credentials or access tokens with unauthorised parties.

5. Intellectual Property and Feedback

You retain rights to your code, repositories, and content. We do not claim ownership of your content by providing the Service.

Orbiter Dev, including its product design, software, branding, and related materials, remains the property of the Orbiter Dev team or its licensors. Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used without obligation to you.

6. Privacy, Cookies, and Website Analytics

Use of the website and Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The website uses analytics to monitor site health, acquisition channels, content engagement, launch-campaign performance, and beta signup flows.

Analytics settings may vary by region. Google Analytics may be opt-in in some regions. You can manage Google Analytics through Cookie Preferences in the website footer.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may interoperate with third-party AI coding tools, IDEs, marketplaces, infrastructure providers, analytics services, and mobile platform services. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their data practices, or actions taken by tools or agents outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orbiter Dev and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or system availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total cumulative liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding twelve months or EUR 100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Orbiter Dev team from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, your connected agents or tools, your approved or ignored actions, or your failure to maintain appropriate oversight and safeguards.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including to protect the Service, users, infrastructure, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. Changes will be posted on this page. Where practical, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active beta users of material changes.

12. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms are the current agreement between you and us for use of the Service. You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign our rights where reasonably necessary as the Service evolves.
